Sunday at Sea
Greetings,
I tried sending a note yesterday, but I think it got lost. So I'll try again. It is 12noon and the captain is giving his daily report on location, ocean depth etc. These have been relaxing days. Yesterday I took a class on being a tour guide. I am now certified to do this on all cruises. I will sign up for tours and serve as a guide; then I do not have to pay for the tour in question. I like this idea a lot.
Last nigh's show was a pianist. He was great. Played show music, popular music, even a little classical. He was well received. The ship is abuzz with lectures, games, bingo, entertainment. HYou name it and it is here. I have chosen to watch from afar and just sit for now. There is a movie this afternoon that I hope to catch.
We are approaching North America. The seas are a little choppier. This morning's Mass was a rock and roll celebration. I think it is time to eat again. I am going to try the Golden Lion for fish and chips. This room is usually filled with people enjoying each other and a brew or two or three.
Will be in touch. Take care.
Bill
