Happy New Year
Happy New Year one and all. It is difficult to believe that January 4th is around the corner. I have dreamt of this trip for years and now it is here. I fly to London and then will be taken to Southampton to board the Queen Elizabeth. Next stop is NYC. The Queen Elizabeth will dock at pier 88. At the same time the other Cunard Queens will be in town, namely Mary 2 and Victoria. The ships will leave the harbor on January 13th around 5:00pm to the accompaniment of fireworks provided by NYC. The ships are leaving to circumnavigate the world on their unique routes. It will be an exciting experience. I am boarding at Southampton so I may cross the big pond on Queen Elizabeth for her maiden voyage.
I am getting there with packing. I am not only leaving for the trip but I am also moving to a new residence on my return in May. I do believe in miracles. I need a few over the next couple of days. Stay in touch as I set out on this spectacular adventure.

Hi Bill - Happy New Year to you, too - hope you arrived safely in London and are ready to embark on your global cruise...back to NYC! And other more exotic places! Keep posting pictures. I will be living vicariously through you for the next few months.
