Mid Pacific

Happy Monday,

LA worked well for me.  I got the pictures off, finally.  I hope you enjoyed them.   I have more, but I'll try in Hawaii.  I went through my tour book and saw that I could visit Rome and eventually Fatima, once in Lisbon.  I will work on getting these on my tour plans.  Cairo is also on our tour plan; will have to see how that  plays out given the chaos going there at this moment.

LA was a nice stop.  We picked up 800 guests, I believe 50+ will stay on board till Southampton.  The majority of the guests are Brits, followed by Australians and then USA citizens.  The Aussies will disembark when they reach their motherland.

We are at  sea for 2 more days before we reach Maui.  We will spend a day at Maui and then Honolulu.  As I review the future ports of call I am overwhelmed by the excitement that lies ahead.   In planning this trip I did not digest what was involved - completely.  Now that I am here, I am thrilled with what is presented around each corner.

I forgot to mention the other day that I enjoy the English practice of high tea at 3:30 in the Queen's Room.  The tea is enjoyable with scones and trimmings. You do meet interesting folk at gatherings like this.

  Take care.
